The Face Behind the Brand

I’ve always had a love for fashion and working with people, and in 2020 I decided to take the leap and turn that passion into something of my own.

Living on the beautiful Coffs Coast, I purchased Double Feature Clothing, left my full-time job and jumped headfirst into my dream. Then, just three weeks later, COVID hit.

The shop was packed up and moved home, and those first few months were spent packing online orders and personally delivering them around Coffs Harbour. It wasn’t quite the beginning I had imagined, but it became the start of an incredible journey.

As restrictions lifted, Double Feature continued to grow. We moved from our little arcade shop onto the main shopping strip on Harbour Drive and, not long after, opened a second store further down the street.

A New Chapter

In 2023, life took our family in a new direction when we moved to Bathurst, NSW for my husband’s work.

Rather than opening another bricks-and-mortar store, I decided to take Double Feature online, while still getting out and meeting customers face-to-face at local markets throughout the warmer months.

The support we’ve received in Bathurst has been incredible, with the Bathurst Christmas Markets in November 2025 becoming some of our best-selling days ever.

But the best part was meeting so many women, helping them find pieces they loved and seeing them walk away feeling good in what they were wearing.

Because that’s always been my favourite part of Double Feature.

Fashion for Real Women

I’m a wife, a mum to four boys (who have the most amazing partners) and a nanny to four beautiful grandchildren, with another little grandbaby on the way. I’m certainly not a fashion “it girl”, and I’m not trying to be.

I’m just me.

And I think that’s exactly why I understand so many of the women who shop with Double Feature.

I’m here for the everyday woman. The busy mum. The grandmother. The woman finding her confidence again. Or simply the woman who wants something comfortable, flattering and affordable that makes her look in the mirror and think, “Yep... I feel good in this.”

The Heart Behind the Brand

I believe looking and feeling beautiful shouldn’t have to cost a fortune, which is why I work hard to keep our prices affordable from the beginning rather than relying on constant sales.

And behind every online order is still me, doing a little happy dance when I hear that “cha-ching”.

Every order, message, share and recommendation means someone has chosen to support this little business of mine, and I never take that for granted.

Double Feature isn’t about being fancy or exclusive. It’s about helping real women find pieces they genuinely love wearing and feel good in.
